I've been watching the web site and feel they have some great ideas about important issues.

I must say however that I'm a bit dissapointed about this blog, which was also published in our local paper. Do you think it's a good idea to aggressively point the finger at voters? They may have voted the current govt in - but it was most certainly without the deliberate intention of achieving a poor health system or a bad response to climate change. Perhaps it would have been better to take the time to reassure people that we still have the ability to make a better Australia and world. One of the most reassuring things I've ever heard was Al Gore saying that we already have everything we need to fix the problem. We just need the positive action and attitude to make it work. That's what we need from you Mr Kiely, someone who is strong, positive and reassuring. Not a lecture from a school teacher style figure.
Leonie

our healthcare is heading in a very poor direction...

our healthcare is heading in a very poor direction. that's why i'm working to support AARP who are working to get Congress to make Medicare available to the people who cannot afford it. you should check out their website at http://www.thisissoridiculous.com and sign their online petition and make your voice heard! you can also view videos, email Congress, and make donations on the site!

~Jessica
